FESTIVAL DE RITMOS Y FOLKLOR 2008
Una vez más la Escuela de Danzas Orientales, bajo la dirección de la compañía Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo nos trajo su gran actividad cultural anual los días Sábado 12 y Domingo 13 de julio en el Salón La Fiesta del Hotel Jaragua con un maravilloso evento que rindió homenaje en esta oportunidad a la danza oriental con su diversidad de ritmos, estilos y danzas folklóricas manifestadas en la danza que interpretaron nuestros antepasados.
Esta actividad cultural estuvo dividida en tres secciones: La primera trato sobre los RITMOS ARABES y su correcta interpretación, la segunda sobre los ESTILOS del belly dance, y en la tercera y última sección fueron presentadas las diferentes DANZAS FOLKORICAS que provienen de las distintas regiones del Oriente Medio, de Egipto y de otros países árabes.
Como invitado especial internacional tuvimos la presencia de MOHAMED AHMED EL SAYED, quien tuvo a su cargo la clausura del evento ionterpretando un TANNOURA magistralmente y al final hizo un cierre junto a todas las profersoras y bailarinas de la escuela tocando con su darbuka mientras bailaban todas las interpretes.
MOHAMED AHMED EL SAYED, es músico, percusionista y bailarín egipcio de renombre internacional, radicado en Europa. En esta galería de fotos verán algunas secciones de dicho espectáculo, el cual estuvo repleto de familiares de las alumnas que fueron a apoyar como todos los años este y todos los eventos que realiza Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo, siempre a la vanguardia del Belly Dance en República Dominicana y reconocida como la más grande y prestigiosa institución de la danza oriental en nuestro país y en america Latina.
