PRIMER CONCURSO Y TALLER MOHAMED SHAHIN
Mohamed Shahin, estuvo invitado en el 2009 a ser Jurado Internacional Principal de nuestro Primer Concurso Nacional de Danza Oriental en Republica Dominicana, el pasado Sabado 16 de Mayo del 2009. Moh amed Shahin y Sahar Sammi, y fundadora y directora de la Sahar Dance Company de San Diego, California., fungieron como jurados principales de este concurso junto a la GLITTER DANCE COMPANy, compania de bailarinas de Sahar Sami en San Diego, California.
Este concurso fue celebrado con mas de 70 participantes de todo el pais y del extranjero, en donde la ganadora del Primer Lugar en la Categoria de Profesionales fue la Srta. Alicia Mata, profesora y bailarina de Vanessa Angulo & su Grupo, quien obtuvo el titulo de DIVINA BELLYDANCER.
En categorias Amateur, fueron ganadoras LIZ EMELY NUNEZ , SAHINA VANESSA ACOSTA (categoria de ninas o menores de edad) y AMANDA GRULLON.
Mohamed Shahin nos brindo ademas 2 talleres excepciones el pasado mes de mayo del 2009, uno de Saidi o danza del baston, y otro de coreografia Egipcia Rak Sharki, ambos celebrados en las instalaciones del Ballet de Alina Abreu de esta ciudad capital.
A la Derecha las ganadoras de los tres primeros lugares del PRIMER CONCURSO NACIONAL DE BELLYDANCE: Nathaly Reyes, Vanessa Robert y Alicia Mata
