RESULTADOS DEL SEGUNDO CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL DE BELLYDANCE EN REPUBLICA DOMINICANA.
La escuela de danzas orientales, bajo la direccion de la compaňia Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo culmino exitosamente su SEGUNDO CONCURSO NACIONAL E INTERNACIONAL DE BAILARINAS DE DANZA ORIENTAL el viernes 16 en el restaurant Kalos de la Zona Colonial y el sábado 17 de diciembre del 2011 en las instalaciones del Teatro del Instituto Cultural Dominico Americano, situado en la A. Abraham Lincoln de esta ciudad, el cual estuvo debidamente organizado por nuestra empresa conjuntamente con los invitados internacionales que participaron como JURADOS INTERNACIONALES y jurados invitados especiales nacionales.
A la derecha: Ahmed Hussien dirigiendo unas palabras a las ganadoras y al publico Le siguen PAMELA ARIAS, LIZ EMELY NUNEZ y VANESSA ROBERT
En este Segundo Concurso Nacional de Danza Oriental 2011, participaron todas las alumnas de la escuela así como alumnas, bailarinas y profesoras de otras escuelas de danzas orientales del país y de Puerto Rico .
El Jurado de esta preliminar estuvo compuesto por: Ahmed Hussien, Jurado Principal del Concurso, Valerick Molinary, Sandra Barreras (Zeina), Paula , Lorelei Acosta y Alicia Mata quienes escogieron seis (6) finalistas que optaron por el titulo de “PRINCESS BELLYDANCER» o categoria de PRINCIPIANTES; Seis (6) finalistas para el titulo de «QUEEN BELLYDANCER» o categoria de INTERMEDIO-AVANZADAS y Nueve (9) finalistas para la participantes que optaron por el titulo «QUEEN OF QUEENS BELLYDANCER» o categoria de PROFESIONALES de la Danza Oriental, categoria dirigida a profesoras y/o bailarinas con mas de 5 años de aprendizaje y experiencia en danza oriental.
Las 9 finalistas escogidas correspondientes a la categoría de Profesionales de la Danza que optaron por el titulo de “QUEEN OF QUEENS”, entraron en debate en la segunda parte de nuestro segundo espectáculo ESTRELLAS DEL NILO a celebrado en el mismo lugar pero dentro del horario de 7:30 p.m. a 10:00 p.m., hora en que participaron las alumnas de Plaza Las Americas, de la Winston Churchill.
En esta categoria de Profesionales de la Danza Oriental el PRIMER LUGAR se lo llevo nuestra querida profesora y bailarina PAMELA ARIAS. El SEGUNDO LUGAR volvio a llevarselo nuestra querida profesora y bailarina apodada «La Morena» VANESSA ROBERT, quien tambien gano el 2do lugar en nuestro PRIMER CONCURSO 2009, y el TERCER LUGAR le correspondio a la fina y clasica bailarina LIZ EMELY NUNEZ quien en el 2009, fue ganadora del Primer Lugar de la Categoria Amateur o Semi-Profesional de nuestro 1er. Concurso.
El Concurso Final o Premiacion Definitiva, fue celebrado el Sabado 17 de diciembre del 2011 en el Teatro del Instituto Cultural Dominico Americano a partir de las 4:30 pm, y el mismo fue efectuado dentro de la celebración de nuestra «GALA ESTRELLAS DEL NILO» .
Las 12 finalistas escogidas optaron por los títulos: PRINCESS BELLYDANCER y QUEEN BELLYDANCER (categorías amateur y semi-profesional), y entraronn en debate en la primera parte de nuestro espectáculo ESTRELLAS DEL NILO que se celebrara a partir de las 4:30 p.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. en el Teatro Patrick Hughson del Instituto Cultural Dominico Americano, en cuyo espacio de tiempo fueron presentados también los trabajos coreográficos grupales de las alumnas de Plaza Lope de Vega y Plaza Sky Tower de la zona oriental.
En la categoria de Semi-profesionales obtuvo el PRIMER LUGAR la Srta. ANA IRIS MARIANO, el SEGUNDO LUGAR lo gano ANDREA TERRERO, ambas de alumnas avanzadas de Plaza Sky Tower de la zona oriental. El TERCER LUGAR le correspondi a DANNA MONTES DE OCCA, alumna avanzada de nuestra escuela de la Lope de Vega.
El programa de nuestra Gala «ESTRELLAS DEL NILO» y del «CONCURSO FINAL» constituyo nuestro gran SHOW INTERNACIONAL y comprendio un OPENING DE NAVIDAD, la presentacion de nuestros jurados nacionales dando apertura a la Gala Estrellas del Nilo, los trabajos coreograficos de los grupos, el debate de las participantes, el cierre con nuestros Jurados Internacionales invitados especiales, y la seleccion y premiacion de parte de Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo.
Ahmed Hussien, proveniente del Cairo, Egipto, fungio como Jurado Principal, es considerado uno de los mejores maestros de todos los tiempos entrenado en Ballet Clasico y en Folklore Egipcio y fue el primero en llegar a la ciudad de New York, a trabajar en el famoso estudio denominado «Fazils”, y quien con apenas 18 años de edad fuera contratado para ser coreógrafo de la obra “Oh Brother” estrenada en EUA en los años 80. Ahmed Hussian realizo además grandes actuaciones y presentaciones teatrales y artísticas tanto en el Lincoln Center, asicomo en diferentes ciudades y estados del territorio norteamericano. Otro de nuestros jurados internacionales principales fue la famosísima bailarina y profesora VALERICK MOLINARY de nacionalidad Puerto Riquena, residente en la ciudad de Miami, profesora, bailarina y coreaografa de la «Dreams Belly Dance Academy», quien en el año 2009 obtuvo el Primer Lugar en la competencia del Miami Belly Dance Convention y el segundo lugar de la competencia Rakstars Virginia 2010, ganando ademas por votación del público el titulo de ‘People’s Choice Award’ en el 2010. En julio del 2011 Valerick tambien gano el Primer Lugar en la competencia «Queen of Raks Sharki» en Dallas, TX, teniendo como jurado a Randa Kamel, Khaled Mahmoud, Asi Haskal and Aida Nour.
Otra de nuestras INVITADAS INTERNACIONALES y que hizo también de JURADO ESPECIAL es la Sra. Sandra Barreras, conocida como ZEINA, quien es Bailarina, profesora, coreógrafa de Danza Oriental, Raks Sharki, estilo tribal American Tribal Style (ATS), tribal fusión y danzas folklóricas de la india, ademas de promotora artística. Zeina vino a impartir un taller sobre ATS (American Tribal Style), participo como Bailarina Internacional Invitada de nuestra GALA ESTRELLAS DEL NILO junto a una de sus bailarinas, participando también como Jurado Internacional de nuestro SEGUNDO CONCURSO INTERNACIONAL 2011 y al igual que todos los jurados nacionales e internacionales invitados, Zeina bailo en nuestro evento, junto a los demás artistas nacionales y fue parte del cierre de ambas Galas.
Tambien contamos con la presencia de la Sra. MARIA SHAZADI, quien vino como JURADO INTERNACIONAL INVITADO ESPECIAL directamente desde Mexico D.F.. Maria Shazadi es bailarina, productora de espectaculos en Mexico DF, maestra internacional y la primera en preparar CONCURSOS INTERNACIONALES EN MEXICO con jurados de la talla de Yousry Shariff y otros maestras egipcias, de gran trayectoria artistica y un curriculum muy elevado, presentandose ademas en grandes escenarios de paises como China, Japon, Alemania, Egipto, Estados Unidos, y otros paises mas de Latinoamerica, y poseedora de un extenso curriculum, Maria ha participado como jurado internacional en eventos internacionales tambien.
Catalogada como “Maestra de maestras” su éxito como maestra y bailarina de danza árabe la han llevado a impartir cursos y shows en todo MEXICO, ALEMANIA, CHINA, ESTADOS UNIDOS y CANADA, siendo ganadora además del «PREMIO NACIONAL BADIA MANSABNI» otorgado por el IMCADH en Tijuana. Maria Shazadi ha realizado una extraordinaria labor de difusion de la danza árabe en la ciuad de Mexico dándole asi a la Danza Arabe la importancia que se merece en su país natal
Como jurado nacional invitados tuvimos tambien a PAULA quien fue bailarina, profesora y coreógrafa de Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo, y se independizo el 2008. Siguio su capacitacion y crecimiento en la ciudad de Los Angeles California, en donde obtuvo el titulo «Belly Dancer of the Universe 2011» con los títulos «Champion of Champions» y «Drum Solo Champion». Paula ha compartido escenarios con grandes artistas internacionales de la danza, y es ademas obtenedora del titulo, «People’s Choice Winner”, competencia organizada por la famosa maestra internacional Jillina.
Todos los jurados nacionales invitados fueron dignos representates de nuestro pais en la Gala «Estrellas del Nilo» y este es el segundo concurso que celebra la escuela de danzas de Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo, ya que en Mayo del 2009, la escuela celebro su Primer Concurso Nacional e Internacional, en el cual se registraron 70 bailarinas dominicanas, extranjeras y profesoras de todos los niveles.
