Taller Internacional De Danza Oriental «AHMED HUSSIAN»
Por primera vez el Centro de Danzas Orientales, bajo la direccion de la empresa «Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo» ofrecio el 27 de Octubre del 2002 a todas sus alumnas el Primer Taller Int’l sobre Danza Oriental, impartido por el maestro egipcio «Ahmed Hussian». Es la primera vez que en Republica Dominicana se presenta un taller de este genero y en esta ocasion ha sido la compañia que dirige «Vanessa Angulo» quien ha hecho todos los contactos para lograrlo. De esta forma se cumplieron todos los objetivos con el fin de traer al Sr. Hussian directamente desde El Cairo, Egipto.
Dicho taller se hizo con la finalidad de profundizar más los conocimientos y tecnicas sobre el belly dance y estuvo dirigido en esta oportunidad a todo el equipo de profesoras, bailarinas y al alumnado de la escuela «Vanessa Angulo & Su Grupo».
La escuela tiene miras de realizar un segundo taller en el proximo año 2003, el cual no sólo se circunscribirá al equipo profesional de danzas de dicha institucion, sino al publico en general y a todos los coreografos y/o bailarines de otras escuelas de los diferentes generos de danza que existen en el pais.
El Sr. Ahmed Hussian es un profesional de la danza oriental graduado en ballet clasico y danza egipcia en el «Ballet Nacional del Cairo», Egipto. Ha pertenecido a la compañía de «Ibrahim Farrah» (Boby), impartiendo talleres de danza oriental en «Facil’s Dance Center», la cual es la más prestigiosa academia de enseñanzas del belly dance en New York. Ademas fue profesor de danza en la decada de los ’80 en «Serena Studios», New York. Coreografo profesional de varios espectaculos internacionales, ha sido juez en muchas competencias de baile de salon. Actualmente imparte clases de tango, salsa, fox trot, vals, swing, ballet clasico y belly dance en Egipto.
