Espectáculo Mujeres del Tiempo (2007) -Santo Domingo
Mujeres del Tiempo fue el primer espectáculo cultural del 2007 que nos trajo la escuela de Danzas Orientales, bajo la dirección de la compañía Vanessa Angulo Y Su Grupo, los días 5, 6 , 12 y 13 de mayo en la Sala Manuel Rueda del Conservatorio Nacional de Música a partir de las 8 de la noche.
Catalogado como un verdadero éxito, tanto en asistencia masiva como en aceptación de parte de las personas que pudieron disfrutar este maravillo evento, este espectáculo 100% cultural dirigido a toda la familia tuvo una duración de dos horas, siendo la temática del mismo el seguimiento de las aguas tumultuosas del río del tiempo que nunca se detiene y que corre hacia el futuro arrastrando en sus corrientes la vida y los logros de tres de las mujeres mas famosas de la antigüedad: Hatshepsut, Nefertiti Y Cleopatra.
Este exuberante espectáculo dividido en cuatro secciones nos remontó en sus inicios a los orígenes de la creación del mundo, de los diferentes elementos y especies animales para culminar con la creación del ser humano y el nacimiento de Eva la primera mujer, quien siguiendo las aguas del río del tiempo, nos conectó entonces con Hatshepsut, Nefertiti y Cleopatra, damas y reinas veneradas que después de Eva han resaltado en la historia por sus logros, y han sido ejemplos de inspiración y valor.
La segunda parte de la historia nos presentó dentro del espectáculo a Hatshepsut como la primera Mujer Faraón de Egipto, mujer valiente que a la muerte de su esposo abandonó sus vestiduras femeninas y con valentía vistió ropa de hombre, renunciando a toda feminidad. Gobernó todo un imperio, construyo grandes obras arquitectónicas y un templo grandioso para su descanso eterno que aun existe hoy dia en la ciudad de Karnak . Hatshepsut fue representada por la profesora Natasha Naut.
Nefertiti, 14 años antes de Cristo, considerada la mujer más hermosa del antiguo Egipto, sostuvo creencias que produjeron una verdadera revolución religiosa al lograr que la religión politeísta que adoraba varios dioses, adorara un solo dios : EL SOL. Nefertiti logro transmitir todas sus creencias a su esposo e impuso como dios único y verdadero en todo Egipto, al disco solar con el nombre de Atón. Su papel fue representado por Génesis Jiménez y en el papel de Akhenaton su esposo, estuvo David Rivas.
El Gran Final nos presentó a Cleopatra Philopator Nea Thea , conocida como Cleopatra Séptima, una de las reinas más controversiales de la antigüedad. Mujer poseedora de grandes e innegables dotes políticas, quien utilizó sus poderosos poderes de seducción para vencer a Roma el más grande imperio.
Como Cleopatra actuó Estefany Liriano y en el papel de Marco Antonio estuvo Edduard Koppernik, bailarín y coreógrafo egresado de la Pacific Dance Academy, ubicada en Northridge, California. El papel de Julio Cesar estuvo dignamente representado por el señor Juan Alberto Camacho.
En este espectáculo participaron además gran parte de las alumnas que posee la institución conjuntamente con el equipo profesional de la escuela de 22 profesoras y en esta oportunidad, la Sra. Angulo tuvo como corógrafos de las piezas más relevantes dentro de la obra Mr. Yousry Shariff de la Egyptian Academy of Oriental Dance.
La producción, idea y realización de este espectáculo estuvo a cargo de la Señora Angulo, quien conjuntamente con su equipo profesional de 22 profesoras y más de 200 alumnas de los diferentes niveles, trabajaron en los montajes de las coreografías que fueron presentadas en el mismo.
